I was gifted a nano loaded with media: videos, music, photos. I did not have a pc at the time.

I just bought a pc and installed itunes. I am afraid that if I sync the nano with my pc, I will loose all of the media loaded on my nano now.

I would like to transfer all of the media to my pc.
and possibly later add that media to itunes, arrange/organize it and then transfer back into itunes.

help! I am not familiar with either ipod nor itunes and was told that I could use yamipod to achieve my goal.
