Progress meter for each file
Hi,

is there any chance to get a progress meter for each file? The reason I am asking is, usually I transfer large audio files to my iPod shuffle, and I cant see how far the progress is. Would be a good help if we had such a feature!

Else than that, good to see such a software. I cant believe people accept all the limitations from the itunes crap software. I only have self recorded/encoded mp3s and this POS doesnt allow to have them on two different machines. BEsides that itunes simply deletes all my files when my network drives are not accessible upon start of itunes. Crap software.

Unfortunately this is very difficult to implement, so I don't think you'll see it soon in YamiPod.

Sorry,

Re: Progress meter for each file
What a pity

Different issue:
When I copy a file from my iPod back to my PC does it copy the file (before it gets to the destination) to a temporary location? Or does it try to read the whole file into the memory before writing it to the disk? The problem I am experiencing is that when I try to copy a large mp3 from my iPod to my local drive my pc starts to swap all the time and I can hear how my harddisk starts to sweat

Re: Progress meter for each file
Oh yeah, definitly something strange is going on when copying large files back. My swapfile peaked at 880MB and when Yamipod has finished copying the 260MB file back to my harddisk it dropped back to 320MB (that was the value the swapfile had before). And during copying taskmanager showed around 200MB memory usage for Yamipod.
