yamipod destroyed the way my music is sorted
hey guys,

i've linux and use yamipod

very nice, but the problem is today I plugged my ipod, sorted all the music by artist ( I clicked on artists and there was this arrow)

and now the music is still sorted by artists, but when you go to any artist the albums aren't in order and the songs too

i'd like to restore the old order, like this:

artist - album - songs
and the songs are sorted by the title number

hope some help me I don't know what to do, cuz the music is only on the ipod..
(Just popping in)

Re: yamipod destroyed the way my music is sorted
I have a similar problem. I used YamiPod 1.7 to add some songs and playlists and delete others. Now there is no apparent order to anything musical on my iPod - songs, albums, playlists, etc. Additionally, everything listed is listed several times in the same lists.

I have a color iPod (Photo) and use it with a G4 Powerbook running OS X 10.4.11 and YamiPod 1.7.

I tried "fixing" the iPod with YamiPod tools but it said there was nothing wrong with it.

you can restore iPod content by "repairing iPod" as described in online docs. When asked answer "yes" to question "was the problem cause by Y?" then choose "he one that was on iPod before using the current version of YamiPod for the first time."
