Duplicates Songs

It might happen that your iPod music contains duplicated tracks, these can be removed use this feature. From the Tools menubar choose Advanced and then Remove Duplicates as shown in picture.

You can choose how YamiPod should consider songs to be equal.

• Compare filesizes: only files with same filesize will be considered as duplicated.
• Compare titles: only files with same track title will be considered as duplicated.
• Compare albums: only files with same track album will be considered as duplicated.
• Compare artists: only files with same track artist will be considered as duplicated.

For example if you select Compare filesize and Compare titles only fiels with same filesizes and track titles will be considered as duplicated.
Once duplication detection is ended you'll be able to select which files really has to be deleted.

You can manually select which songs have to be removed or (as shown in picture) by right clicking the duplicated song list you'll be able to:

• Keep One
• Keep Highest Bitrate
• Keep Lowest Bitrate
• Deselect All
